We provide supervision, training, mentoring and consultation to both therapist- in- training and to other licensed mental health professionals. We provide supervision sessions tailored to the specific needs of the supervisee and the clientele being served. Supervision sessions are typically once a week for the duration of the supervision contract.

Clinical Therapist Job Description

Clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual therapy Clinical therapy services include treatment of adults, adolescents, couples and families. Treatment Specialties may include: ACT, DBT, EMDR, CBT, Solution Focused, MI, IFS

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and
• Active, unrestricted license (LCPC, LCSW,) in the State of Illinois (must be fully licensed). A current copy of the license will be needed.
• Available to hold at least 15 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by PLC & DUI Services.

Other Qualification Preferences:

• Prior experience in a private practice setting.
• At least three years’ experience post-unrestricted licensure.
• Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).
• Completed CAQH
• Credentialing assistance can be provided for the right candidate.

Hours:

• Work hours and schedule may vary depending on the client and PLC & DUI Service’s needs. Hours include nights and/or weekends. Therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that Therapist will be available to hold a minimum of 15, sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by PLC & DUI Services. Patient sessions are held online/in the office of PLC & DUI Services.
• Professional Requirements: Malpractice Insurance – $1,000,000/$3,000,000

Successful candidates for a licensed clinician position shall have:

• Ability to complete required paperwork for billing in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ability to complete and maintain all clinical records.
• Ability to represent PLC & DUI Services in a consistently ethical and professional manner.
